Hey Jeff! I have a question. Do u eat breakfast before you workout or after. I usually workout early in the morning so do u recommend I eat this before or what should I set before I workout?

  4. snaredrum21 says:

    Set-eat* sorry typo

  5. JDCav24 says:

@snaredrum21 If it’s extremely early in the morning (5am or earlier) I would save the breakfast for AFTER the workout. Instead, I would have a small protein/carb meal replacement to get some calories in me instead of having to workout on an empty and fasting stomach.

  6. snaredrum21 says:

@JDCav24 Well I usually workout around 7 am. So should I just eat breakfast normally?

  7. JDCav24 says:

@snaredrum21 Yes….at 7:00 am that would be fine to do breakfast as usual!

Jeff, I’ve been working out for 3 1/2 months. I am 6’5”, 215 lbs. My goal has been to lose 10 to 15lbs of fat. I’ve read that to maintain my body weight, as is, I need to eat around 3,100 calories daily. I’ve lowered my calorie intake to 2,600 daily (5 to 6 meals a day consisting of carbs, protein, fat), do HIIT cardio 3 times a week, and weight train 3 days a week. I drink lots of water.

After 3 1/2 months, I’ve seen no fat loss and very slight muscle gain. What could I be doing wrong?

  14. GotiMosi says:

waht if i hate all that :( …….can i have cherrio nuts for breakfast with a banana?

  15. JDCav24 says:

@GotiMosi Yes….mix it with skim milk though to get in some protein. Kashi is the better cereal choice however due to it’s increased protein

@JDCav24 I have a question man. Oatmeal you’re supposed to get it into the microwave?… I take it without cooking it. Milk, Bannana and oatmeal in the blender, really tasty shake. Well I guess my question is that oatmeal if I eat it without cooking, its bad for mi stomach? =O

  20. JDCav24 says:

@percast Considering you’ve been eating this for awhile and haven’t had any stomach upset I’d say….go for it :) It’s a heckuva lot easier than having to even cook it!

  21. percast says:

@JDCav24 Thanks man.. apriciate it the response =D and that pocorn recipe of yours, awesome! (other vid)

  22. percast says:

Theres gotta be something funny about gatorade, I remember taking a bottle when I went gym just before I quit, and I was going like mad on overdrive, like I was a he-man fitness god (who looked like a twig), but then the after pain is like 10 times worse the next day, and lasted about a week!

  24. ncshuriken says:

I’ve got the diet (and fitness) of a horrifically obese man who you wouldn’t wanna meet down a dark alley, yet I NEVER put on weight no matter how much I eat (gotta love fast metabolism), I really need to start eating healthy though, cos I started working out again, but I know the food is just as important as the weights.

  25. ncshuriken says:

You get egg-whites in a carton in the US? Now thats convenience man, and whats that spray? I’ve got too much oatmeal anyway, I love it, so I’ll start chugging that every day, same here with the cinnamon and a bit of sugar if thats all good. Those are some crazy ingredients man, but I love the American style quantities you get over there, here we get little tiny bottles and sachets and crap.

Look at your parents and think of which of them has a great set of abs. There is your answer. If your parents are not great in the ab chances you have the genetics of someone who is built more like a woman and is made for rather than speed.
This means, that you have a layer of fat between your skeleton and your skin all over your body. the only way to get rid of this is starve yourself or get the new laser liposuction in which they melt the fat into a liquid with the laser and use a small cannula to suck it out. Usually with Very nice results.
