Gotta agree with CapitalFalcon, this stuff can be pretty expensive. For example a dozen free range eggs cost about 5-10 times the amount of regular eggs, therefore would it even be worth it? And is it really worth it to buy SmartWater when I can essentially get the same thing from my faucet for almost no cost? I think it would be nice if you did a Top Ten list of foods for people with strict budget… Not all poor people like to eat garbage…

For me, the bottom line is you and your family will pay now or pay later. After working on an Oncology floor for 7 years, and seeing all the YOUNG people with cancers, I buy mostly organic meats, eggs, milk, apples, bell peppers, and other thin-skinned fruits/veggies. I don’t worry so much with thick skinned items such as pineapples, bananas, and coconuts. I’d rather eat LESS now, eat healthy food, and not have to pay thousands of dollars in medical bills later.

People should not be required to learn this. People should seek guidance from a dietitian, a person who is licensed to give out food nutrition facts.

@nemodyne The China Study has already been debunked by credible scientists. The real problem with animal proteins is that not everyone digests them well. However fruits and vegetables (especially raw) contain copious amounts of natural proteins or enzymes, which help to assist in the digestion of natured proteins. Especially as we age, the more need for protein enzymes such as bromelain, lipase, papain, pepsin, protease, pancreatin. peptidase, trypsin, chymotrypsin.. also Hydrochloric acid etc.)
