So according to this, you only need to work out one part of your body once a week?

  2. slb785 says:

Im sure he meant to say biceps not shoulders again

  3. priceethewarrior says:

    You’re right. This guys dumb

  4. aznlyfe6 says:

yes it works well for me. you focus on that one or two types of muscles and you’ll be fine. your muscles need time to rest and rebuild if you workout every muscle every day you will gain muscle but not as much as you think. also eating healthy is the biggest factor in anyone’s physique.

  5. AgentGustavo says:

That means someone can have a full body workout once a week and don’t have to do anything else for the rest of the week besides cardio and still be in great shape. That’s pretty cool.

  6. aznlyfe6 says:

heh you don’t see it as that. everyday you work out you are burning calories and increasing your muscle mass. the more muscle mass you put on the more fat you burn even when your not working out and just sleeping or sitting around you will lose fat. working out longer than an hour to 1 and 1/2 a day is stressful on the body even if you switch muscle groups. your body needs rest and can only take a shit kicking for so long. make sure you add cardio or what i like, conditioning.

  7. AgentGustavo says:

1 and 1/2 is enough time for a full body work out. It’s cool we only need to work out once a week and be in shape and then just do cardio the other days.

  8. aznlyfe6 says:

correct, it is not enough time so don’t work out your whole body once a week try to go 3 times a week =D

  9. AgentGustavo says:

It is enough time, I worked my arms for less than 10 minutes and I was sort for 5 days.

  10. ALG0FL4SH says:

300g of protein a day LMAOOOOOOOOO!

  11. aznlyfe6 says:

yeah but as your muscles get stronger your body adds more muscle and your body starts to get used to the stress and resistance you won’t feel as sore if at all. on my bicep days i work them at least half an hour.

  12. AgentGustavo says:

I work out to failure, to the point you can’t even move your arms, and it takes less than 10 minutes to get to that point, but 4 days of pain after that.

  13. aznlyfe6 says:

if it works for you i guess so but i will tell you that all those fitness guys you see in good shape are not working out once a week for 10 minutes.

  14. AgentGustavo says:

I said 10 minutes just fo the arms, but the whole body takes about an hour, but is not about if it works or not, it is about how fast your arms fail to continue.

  15. aznlyfe6 says:

so you’re saying your arms right. meaning in 10 minutes you can do at least 4 sets for your biceps, triceps, rear delts, front delts, side delts, forearms upper and lower. i wont even get into the different parts to your biceps triceps and other muscles.

  16. AgentGustavo says:

Yeah, I do triceps, biceps and the 3 he mentions on this video. Those are 5 moves and 4 sets of 15 reps each. About 10 minutes all together, but I alkways do the 5th set of 15 reps to see how far can I go.

  19. TGsauce says:

Thats actually not much. Most Pro bodybuilders bump it up to 2g of protein per lb of bodyweight on their offseason to gain mass.

You seem as though formed a bond with Shamrock. He also seems like he has the potential to make a wonderful little companion. :)

Do you know if he was handled in his previous home? If he worked with on hand taming, this may be the problem. Also, do you know how old he is? If he is still young, this process will probably be easier, if not it could be a challenge.

I believe the most you could do if just be patient and work with him. Be very slow with your hands and fingers around him. When he is out, maybe you could sit with your hands out near him and just be still for a little while. If he comes near your hand, slowly praise and award him. Tell him good boy in a calm and sweet tone. Offer him treats like millet, or anything else he likes. This will probably take a good amount of time for him to get down.

Once he is around your hands, try to press a finger against his tummy. Be slow and careful not to frighten him though. Say step up, and if he does it, award him with praise and a treat. Keep practicing this until he is with stepping up. Again, this will probably take some time as well.

Also, I recommend trying to pet or rub him until he is okay with the presence of your hands. He may think you are trying to him and he may become afraid and feel he must defend himself. To him your hand is probably pretty big, and seeing it over his head or body may be intimidating.

Biting and nipping may remain a problem throughout this process. never good to scold a bird, but if he bites hard, you could simply say no, and of course, no treats. Once he is with your hands and being handled, the biting and nipping should stop or slow down at least.

So try these steps and hopefully everything works out. The best advice I can give you is to just be very loving and patient. Shamrock seems like a great little companion, he just needs a little work. Best of luck to you and Shamrock! :)
