      I really liked the Tortoise & the Hare analogy… honestly made me think…. and you’re definitely dead-on about wanting it right now… I always do that to myself… try really hard for a week and then get tired of it, or realize i could never keep this up, and then I just stop… but gosh it’s so true that… like… people you love you want to take care of and keep happy, you want them to be healthy. Why can’t we all have this same love for ourselves?

      you make a great point, it is all psychological. Our brain has more power than we think. If the brain isn’t healthy, then our bodies won’t be either. Short goals are easier to achieve than larger ones, but we can add many short goals and create a big one, it is a again the power of our brain to help us be patient.

      Well I’m glad you made it to release the thoughts.. it helped a lot. My max weight was 298, I was 286 in December when my life was turned upside down for many reasons.. and I set myself up to lose weight.. I’ve lost 68lbs and still going. My goal is 160 as well. And I was discouraged because it just feels like it’s taking forever and results aren’t coming (even though I went from 26/28, xxl/xxxl clothing.. to 16/18, L/XL clothing so far)..and I found this vid.. it helped, a lot. Thank you.
