Macomarell! You are a hoot! I love your video! Keep making these, every day, bc I love you spunkiness! You inspire me and make me laugh my dear! I shall rate it. Hey. How do you edit your videos? Mine are boring and I wish I could edit out the dorky parts. Course then there might not be any video left. ! Nite!

  3. macomarell says:

I have lots of dorky parts to edit out. I hate the way I sound and how I hesitate between words and worse how my lame mind wanders. I have lots of editing to do.
This video was edited with Imovie 08. It is the a very silly simple and limited. I am learning Final Cut but that won’t help me in front of the camera or remove my newly found wrinkles.

So you did the wrap your fingers around the wrist test too.
I still think I am a medium frame even if I can overlap my fingers past the nail.
I am 5ft 6 and found out for a small frame I need to be 120. 20 pounds away for me.
Good luck to you, we are going to WIN this weight deal.

hm so i just talked to my mom. we have reeally similar bodies, except she isn’t as overweight as me. we are the exact same height & (supposidly) frame. she said that her lowest weight was 135 & she was starving & way too skinny. she said her ideal weight is 145- 150 which is 10 lbs more than the website told me. so i guess i just need to wait & see how i look & feel once i start getting down there in weight. everyone’s body types are different. & you don’t look like you have 20 lbs more to lose!

  23. macomarell says:

Enzymes are so important in our processed world, glad you know that.
It will take about 6 weeks for the cosamine to work, it did for me anyway. The relieve is so worth it.
Good luck to you, I would sure like to know if it works for you.

i downloaded the cronometer, so when i enter my info, it tells me how many calories i can eat a day, or do i have to subtract 500 cal?

  25. macomarell says:

You need to enter your information in the nutritional targets, it is under file manage nutritional targets, but first set it up with your name in the file-manage users.
You can set the hi and lo calories. You get these figures from a calorie counter web site. PM me if you need more help.

As you may know, and I think I responded to another of your blog entries with more specifics, calorie restriction is the only scientifically proven way to extend ones life. Period. Supplements, not. Exercise, not (this improves the quality of life, but has not been proven to extend life). not necessarily eating less — ingesting fewer calories and having those calories come from quality food sources (as you mention, no refined carbs). If you eat a lot of raw foods, for instance, you can actually eat quite a lot and still take in fewer calories. You do need fat, but unsaturated fats are best.

so much information on the web regarding calorie restriction (CR), and I think the government may be hesitant to tell people exactly how to do it, because there are many ways to achieve calorie restriction.

The books I have are by Dr. Walford, and here is a link:

Whether they work or not only time will tell. I can say, though, that never once seen an very old person who is fat. Have you? It seems like those folks who live to extreme old age are very thin. Food for thought!

Guess what? coming to your town be a fun series. But the odds are heavily in favor of the Sox to take 2/3.. if not more. Karstens and Rasner are good, but they are not Beckett and Dice-K. Let Mussina and Pavano get healthy– (wait did I really say that?).. nevermind let Mussina get healthy and let Clemens come in June.. then on. But you have to agree.. is there a hotter hitter in baseball then A-Rod?

Do NOT take diet pills! They are dangerous!!

Last year I was visiting my parents and took diet pills on top on my exercise routine and normal diet. I was 26 at the time, 180 lbs. By week three I was sick. I had diarrhea, dry heaves, dizziness, headaches, and a general feeling of being sick. I thought I had caught the flu or something. I had lost 13 lbs in 4 days. One morning I told my mom I feel good. My vision kept blacking out and I felt (for lack of a better way to say it) stoned. Later that afternoon I was walking from the bathroom to my bedroom (a 5 foot walk) and I passed out. I was rushed to the hospital emergency where they did a bunch of tests on me.

My pulse was up to 120, My blood pressure was 150/40, they had to me on an IV, the did an EKG on me, took blood and urine samples, and a whole barrage of other tests.

They finally got me stabilized and said that I was dehydrated and malnutritioned. I told him that I took diet pills. When I mentioned diet pill, the doctors face lit up and said why. He said they can cause a whole bunch of health problems, including death. He told me to toss the diet pills or next time I might not be so lucky.

I was kept in the hospital for almost 10 hours, given 3 or 4 IVs, potassium, juices, and monitored (by the EKG, blood pressure, and rate machines) every 15 minutes.

Please take my story as a warning. If you seriously want to loose weight there are better ways (I know because lost weight after this)

The quickest way to lose weight is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohol, and sodas.

Eat veggies (salads are good), soups, and drink TONS of water. If you get hungry between a meal, drink water to fill up.

In moderation eat white meats, and fruits (fruits contain natural sugars, and that can put on weight)

Practice control. Yes, feel hungry at first, but think of your goal, and soon your stomach will shrinking and you have that feeling anymore.

Eat 5 times a day. A small breakfast. A mid-morning snack, such as an apple. A small lunch. A mid-afternoon snack, such as carrots. A lite dinner. Do not eat any later than 7pm (6pm is better.)

Go exercise for at least an hour – two a day, incorporating weight training along with your cardio. Cardio helps to melt the fat, while weight training builds muscle. Muscle burns fat, even when you are resting. You get the idea. It also gives tone and definition. Also do a few yoga and pilates exercises to help tone those hard to reach and stubborn areas.
