   The Taiwanese Military offered to deploy troops into Afghanistan. The administration, Bush at the time, declined the offer due to possible military response from China. We can try, but China is always going to stand in the way. Its their way of sending the message, that its either war or “reunification”

    I happen to agree with re-unification because chinese ancestry have been trying to unify china for about the last 3000years now. Having a multi-party system (democrat or not) is opposite of unifying because chinese ppl would be fighting over each other their differences. Taiwanese been fighting amongst each other for the last decade or two, some of them can be crazy and overeacting.

    China have been loaning 100s of billiions of $ to U.S. to war in iraq and afghanistan for the last 9 years now.

    idiot. no country can do a massive EMP atteck, specially the size of china. they are not as strong as US but definitely will kick some white asses. US cant even win in iraq and afganistan, how about fighting a 1.3billion of soldiers? nuke attack is out of the question. they wont use it to a nuclear armed country.

    and your wrong, a EMP explosion at the right alltitude can blackout 1/3 of main land china. 3-4 EMP strikes at the right location and altitude and China has no choise but too surrender.

    flying bombing runs in formation, firing sams at high altitude targets, having attack helicopters hover at 1000 ft while firing into the sea? when do you guys ever hold any realistic exercises? you get the feeling all this will come to nothing in a real war.
