    i’m just wondering, we want to start trying to get pregnant and twins skip a generation in my hubby’s family (and it just so happens out of all the kids i’m the only one left still wanting more) so we may be expecting twins soon.

    hi! after being 8 days late I was induced 3 times and ended up in a csection at 10 days later. my contractions were too mild and baby was tuned wrong. I really think staying fit helped a great deal not just during the pregnancy but for after. I was released from the hospital 4 days after his birth and went shopping!
    I only wish I had stuck to a daily routine of yoga, might have helps my tummy muscles come back together faster.
    Now I have a 7 month old baby Jake. :)

    @tjandkd05 let me know when you find out, but keep up the exercise, especially now while you are trying to get pregnant

    Hi..I m into 32th week of my pregnancy. I’ve been engaged in stretching, normal household chores and walking as a part of my exercise but i still feel pressure on my pelvic muscles. I wish to start these Yoga poses now. Is it Safe and would help in coping up the pain whilst in labour???

  6. alexlucywilliams says:

    Hi Dr Cathy, I’ve just reached 32 weeks, and your videos are so spot on! I have a DVD which is just too much for me most days, and local classes seem to be breathing, waving your arms a bit and having a chat, leaving me wanting more. Your comment about doing more than most would to train for a marathon was particularly inspiring – made me realise how seriously I should take this! And your video of Anthony at 12hrs – I want a natural birth! I’m going to see how it goes anyway. Thank you!

    I started doing this everyday its a really great relaxing workout…thanx

  11. doctorcathy says:

    @MommyMarie23 Great – keep it up!

  12. doctorcathy says:

    @TheNatali1988 No, I did not. I’ve always used cocoa butter and I drink a lot of water everyday. During my pregnancy, I increase my water intake and apply cocoa buuter sevreal times per day. I continue this routine even after baby is born to help the skin shrink back, too.

  13. doctorcathy says:

    @roseattri Thanks – I hadn’t even noticed that you can see that. This was my 1st pregnancy and my son was the little karate kid with his kicks and jabs! I loved every minute of it!

  14. doctorcathy says:

    @alexlucywilliams Plan for it. Take classes on the Bradley Method and consult a midwife. That’s the only way you will be prepared for a natural birth. My son was 8lbs, 8 oz and my daughter was 10lbs, 3oz. Both born naturally, both with just my husband, a midwife and an assistant present. 2 Beautiful, healthy, happy babies. Best wishes to you – keep me posted.

  15. doctorcathy says:

    @rashmipw Yes and yes! You’ve got ot prepare if you plan on having a natural birth otherwise you may end up with an unplanned epidural.

  22. SharaNaturalJourney says:

    i used to be scared of working out period during pregnancy because im a hardcore workout person 24/7! Im going to try this asap!

  23. doctorcathy says:

    @joykouta1 start walking today

  24. doctorcathy says:

    @jessimarie101 without knowing your history I cannot answer that question. Talk to your midwife, ask her to view the video and get back with you. Then let me knwo what she said.

  25. doctorcathy says:

    @SharaNaturalJourney Don’t be scared – you’re not sick, you’re pregnant and that’s a normal stage of life.
