    Cycling is a cardiovascular exercise that you can do every day. It will tone muscles but wont make them huge. To get larger legs muscles you need to go into a anaerobic state by climbing hills or doing sprints to where you muscles fail. That is like weight lifting where yo do the same thing. Free weights are the best it causes you muscle groups to work together. Lift a weight that you can only do 12 times and add weight when you can do it 17 times. There are plenty of sites dedicated to weight lifting. If weight loss is your goal eating less is the answer.
