    @shiftat9000 That is only if you are working with old flux, or lead, AMTECH Fluxes are very good for low chemicals, no chromium or bromium

  2. digitooltv says:

    @e023007 AMTECH 559 ASM

  3. digitooltv says:

    @scampc Flux cream, usually. 559 AMT

  4. digitooltv says:

    @Villacarlos2008 Flux is not plastic is a lubricant, spandex chemical used in cream for reballing and gel for lifting

    and the stencil doesn’t deform?,what type or brand you are using? tanx for your video.

    whats reballing?

  7. poplamen says:

    I’m heaving trouble to fill the stencil with the balls, should i use flux (which one) between the IC and the Stencil? and when I heat the stencil, it folds, and lift the sides, and i cant melt correctly. Should i fix the stencil somehow? What should I do? please help me.

  8. lovelytuber says:

    hello there are two forms of flux one for reballing anf the other for cleaning would you please tell me their names ? thanks

  9. digitooltv says:

    @lovelytuber
    AMTECH – 559 – ASM , the difference is the viscosity, not to clean, you use gel to lift chips, cream to do reballing.
    Greetings

  10. digitooltv says:

    @poplamen
    You are using too much flux and the wrong way to heat the stencils. Stencils are .3mm in the world, and no matter how you do the heat, cannot be too much time on the stencil or net, remember you are fitting balls in the chip, not melting them , that is when you go to the main board, right now there is no need so much temp and also you need to do circles around the stencil or net, or spirals, depends which system you use, if hot air nozzle or infrared top heater.

    This is the best reballing video I have seen on here.

    Hi. can you tell Us please what flux need to use for lift chips,.can you please tell name and number. thank you

    when i melt the solder balls with my kada 852D hot air rework station, it seems to blow the balls off position before they get a chance to melt. any tips on keeping them stationary? (its at lowest air settings and i use ASM559 flux)

  16. digitooltv says:

    @muharraqi55 Not at all. But thanks for the empty and not smart comment.

  17. digitooltv says:

    @TheZAM09 AMTECH 559ASM

  18. digitooltv says:

    @willy101010 Use the cream for the reballing, never use the gel one in rebaling, and use an spatula to put very very very thin layer, that can help the procedure, without flooding.

    @shednoshef :)

  20. stonelovesound says:

    wow thats cool have you ever reball a xbox 360 gpu chip

  21. collazoscesar says:

    HI, are you using two different flux, is their one for cleaning the old solder and another one to add to chip for soldering . whats the difference it the cream vs gel. i’d be using the t-862++ machine. thanks

  22. digitooltv says:

    @stonelovesound , Check all the BIRD series videos, that is enough for Xbox there.

  23. digitooltv says:

    @collazoscesar , No sir, there is one flux that is used in lifting, and one that is use all in reballing, the reballing part all use is cream for the viscosity , that helps more to fix balls in the chip, while the gel or liquid is use in lifting for lubrication and spread even the heat, like in the engine of a car, that is the liquid flux, but then to fix the balls is the creamy one. because gives a sticky status to the balls. If you use too much will be skating balls what you have.

    Good job and nice handy work. I think what people are not really seeing is the steady hand motion. Even when I did my best work I was never that still.
