yeah i know they are huge!
totally agree. what better way to naturally raise your test levels than by training your legs. obviously training the largest muscle (legs) will yield better results for the body as a whole.
trunk tree thighs, however way you build/shape them, FTW
yea am bit stronger so am using weight a bit heavier but i think their alright and not to push myself

@dinoiscoolio1 Are you serious. I could be 189 pounds 6’0 of solid muscle for my senior year of wrestling. I am 208.5 and I need to lose around 20 pounds, and gain around 15 pounds of muscle by the time wrestling season comes. I am so going to sub.
thanks for sharing your opinion on this guys workout. If you can gain 35 pounds of muslce in 3 months I can lose fat and gain 15 pounds of muscle by august.
along with jason ferrugia, he is also one of the honest you can find
funny how people think were idiots when we tell them facts
someone that works at the gym i go to , said squats and deadlifts help your upper body thickness. having heavy weight on your back during the squat tickens you out. and deadlifts uses many muscles in your body witch will also thicken out.. plus if you dont train your legs your gonna look strange pencil legs and felt tip upper body .
i been training almost a year made few gains, had few niggles in my shoulders and elbows but all going ok so far
You should upload videos on how to exercise some specific muscles and tips..
Thank you!
that would probably mean aprx. 2500 cals with the workout (have to believe that we're burning 400 cals in an avg p90x workout). so you're taking in 1000 cals less than you're burning. so technically, in 9 days, you're going to lose a pound (i think you said 9000cals = 1lb). but what about muscle gain? we're doing strength training, not just cardio…we're building muscle. and muscle weighs more than the fat that we're losing (i assume we're losing fat)…so in the end, we're not going to lose a lb per 9000 calories expended, right? maybe it's just too early!
Great question as gaining weight can be tricky since you want to put on the right kind of weight and not just fat. Ideally you will want to aim for muscle mass to create the weight increase, anything else will hinder performance and leave you feeling awful.
To gain the right weight your son needs to 1. increase calories from the right sources, 2. add intense weight training, and 3. I'd use a mass gaining supplement such as this:
1. Calorie Increase.
The bulk of your calorie increase should come from protein. Adding 4 – 8 ounces of a lean protein per meal will be great, but then balance it with a fast absorbing complex carb like an 8 – 16oz. glass of natural fruit juice. The carb/protein combo will help give a constant blood sugar level and protein absorption. It is imperative to eat 5-6 equal meals each day doing this. To determine just how many calories he will need go to http://www.teambeachbody.com and set up a free account (make “Randy Barton” your coach so I can help you even more) then got to Eat Smart>Nutrition Tools>Calorie Needs. You will enter his info and get your target calorie needs based on his lifestyle.
2. Intense Weight Training.
To add muscle mass you must train rigorously using heavy weights and lower reps. To greatest help he may have is getting a prepackaged routine to follow. I personally use the popular P90X and have had amazing results. You can look at the program at This is an intense regime and give great structure. If you go with P90X I'd recommend just doing the weight training days (MWF) and use the heaviest weights possible to not do more than 8 reps. If P90X is not right for you, find something that will whether it is at a gym with a trainer or another routine someone has put together. The important thing is to do something that has structure and is done consistently. A heavy gainer should plan to work out an hour per day; heavy weights, low reps. Also, do not work out the same muscles everyday. I know that P90X has 5 different weight training routines and can be shuffled around to give variety… this should be done with any routine.
3. Supplements.
You do not have to do supplements, it is up to you. Supplements can work great but also so can prove costly. I'd recommend something like this: This has 750 calories to give you and increase as well as 50 grams of protein to help create muscle. It should be taken immediately after working out and will help give size, and therefore weight. This formula has creatine in it which is naturally produced in the body anyway, but this gives your body a boost. Creatine causes your body to retain a bit of water which will also give weight gain and muscle size. If you can, take this mix twice per day to give a heavy calorie/protein increase, and always take it with water so not to overload on the saturated fat.
Here is a video that will help you get a few of the specific things you could eat to gain good weight.
Thanks for your question. Please feel free to ask eXFF at any time with your faith and fitness needs.

Great post. refreshing to see a bodybuilder take supplements that are first and foremost of HEALTH! When health is the foundation of your training, muscle size will follow. see too many young bodybuilders burn out mentally and physically because they put junk in their bodies and became unhealthy and injured. Our is about looking, feeling, and being healthy!
