when making this sort of salad I found it best to let it sit for a little before serving so the oil has a chance to blend and settle some, otherwise I found the oil taste too strong.

I dont miss anything either Amelia. BUT I love how cinnabon smells! I get to food courts and I know I cant really eat any of it. I buy my toddler some chicken nuggets and we share the childs portion. I dont have a problem with chicken but I can only eat 2 nuggets. We share a tea too. I dont have a desire for the big burgers and fries…I just want something to make me not hungry anymore and give me energy to get through the rest of my day. those vegs sound amazing. Ill have to try chinese again.

  31. Boston says:

Well never seen anyone suggest that the Mediterranean diet contains canola oil. It always says olive oil. But I think what you are seeing is a modified Mediterranean diet. The US is the fattest nation in the world, and we are also f*cking terrified of fat, so every recipe, diet, etc. etc. will always include low fat dairy, and they try to avoid talking about butter if at all possible. As for our huge plates of salad, something that dieters do, and too hard to maintain that long term, so they end up binging on junk food.
