i lost weight now im lean and i wanna get ripped
but i still got do some cardio cuz im 15% body fat , i wanna be 10%. so is this a good idea?
Mon- Chest/Triceps/abs/cardio
Tue- Biceps/Back
Wed- Leg/Shoulders/abs/cardio
Thu- Chest/Triceps
Fri- Biceps/Back/abs/cardio
Sat- Legs/Shoulders
Sun- REST
experts say that if u wanna gain muscle u shouldnt do cardio everyday u should do cardio for 3-4 times a week so i wanna do three.. thx alot if u answer bak

sakoking its all about your diet not just your exercises. and you gotta do cardio every day atleast 30 mins twice once in morning once at night
i do it once a week, but cane myself when i do. getting a hot set of abs isn’t so much about the ab exercise itself, it generally depends on your nutrition and cardio! focusing and controlling these elements first is the way to go, usually the workout is the last thing to focus on.

This guy has a great body, no doubt; however, his workouts should not be followed to a tee in hopes of gaining muscle and losing fat. He’s clearly genetically gifted, and he can probably do whatever he wants and he’ll look like that. His workouts are pretty random, with no real progression for muscle mass.

@TheMrAds for the pull ups try using an assisted machine… and for push ups just do em on your knees.. you may think its a bit girly but whatever you’ll eventually find them easy and move up to regular push ups, then like one legged and just keep progressing when you find the easier

I'm on Week 11 myself right now (starting this AM) and I must say your pros and cons breakdown is spot on so far. Legs and core are worked hardest w/ chest lagging way behind. I'd say upper back/traps get worked out nicely as evidenced by by increase from 1 to 6 wide fly pullups from week 1 to now.
A couple of other notes for those beginning:
- I've substitutted Carido X/Core Synergistics for the Yoga X routine. Yeah, I know Yoga…blah blah…it just is boring and time consuming. Cardio actually has a 10-15 minute Yoga warmup for a little taste. I know the diehards disagree w/ this one but 90 mins of Yoga? Uh uh.
-Do the Ab Ripper BEFORE the other workout on those days. Believe me, it saved me quite a few times. For me, the ab workout was probably the most important one and a lot of times I was 100% wiped out after doing the first workout.
-Buy this stuff called Muscle Building Milkshake by Six Star and take it after workouts. I'm telling you, it works MUCH better than Whey by itself and the Chocolate tastes good (but it doesn't mix well). My strength gains have been amazing. No, I don't work for the company.
-I didn't do the diet plan either but here's the key to success in this whole thing:
a) Work out in the morning before eating
b) Eat a healthy breakfast/shake after workout and eat healthy through lunch and into the mid afternoon time.
c) Throw in a sweet snack or two each day so that your mind doesn't go crazy from lack of sweet. Believe me you'll need it.
If you can do this EVERY day, you can afford to not be eating tuna fish for every meal and with your body in a 'healthy' mode for 6-8 straight hrs every day you'll build muscle and burn fat.

It takes -3500 calories to loose a pound, which means you need to both burn calories by working out & take less calories in by eating in order to loose weight.
Eat fruits & veggies of course. It's typical to eat a small breakfast and a big dinner, but my health teacher said you actually want to do the opposite. And never skip breakfast, it helps you loose weight. I stopped drinking pop and lost 50 pounds in 1 year!! Don't drink juice. You'd think fruit juice is good for you, but its not. It has alot of sugar and extra calories. People say dont eat carbs' not true, 60% of your diet is supposed to be from some type of carbs… just make sure you eat whole grain or whole wheat bread. And drink only skim milk, all others aren't so great for you. Just watch what you eat and pay attention to nutrition labels!
Make sure you do some weight bearing activities along with cardio, it'll help build muscle and burn fat! If you cant buy a gym membership try going for a walk or run outside, doing jumping jacks, jump rope, running up & down your stairs, lifting weights, doings situps & pushups.. those are just some ideas that'll help!
