If you take in any calories it is no longer really fasting. In those terms anything other than water is food. I wasn’t trying to offend you know you, I was just trying to help.

  3. cmk1964 says:

Does that mean that if one fasts and exercises, that the benefits will be greater?

  4. cmk1964 says:

Don’t worry about answering, question answered at the end.

  5. Xeno867 says:

Hmm…makes me think of boxers who don’t really eat much and workout so much to drop weight fast, in time to pass their weight ins before a match.

  6. toddcasse says:

What if you’re under 25 and want to continue growing (height wise)? Will fasting stunt growth?

  8. cirosuperiore says:

you r finally making sense…dont focus on the GH it is the insulin level that determines all factors of your health and ability…low insuling levels are always the best except when you have to eat…that’s why you should eat at night as in the WARRIOR DIET. insulin up, vitality is low, but you
    r asleep so who cares…

  9. SamySantana says:

Should one combine a fasting day with exercising or fast one day and exercise the next?

  11. wccrispy says:

@MarauderRaine Calories (energy) are taken from the fat stores in your body which means you CAN do both.

  12. dpiddy022 says:

they also do spit buckets and sweat out weight which is pure water weight, they’re actually dehydrated, so it’s not really the same

  13. MarauderRaine says:

Yeah, but there’s some fat that your body needs to hold on to, otherwise it goes into an emergency mode. You’ll feel weak and tired if you do exercise, ’cause your body is acting like it’ll never eat again, and it doesn’t want to lose the fat. I definitely wouldn’t chose to exercise while fasting.

  14. jerrymclos says:

MarauderRaine perhapse u need to eat a bit less cuz ones ur used to eating alot u’ll get hungry every like 2 hours and its annoying cuz exercise will become an agany.. wat u shud do is eat till ur satisfied not till ur full and only eat untill ur slightly feeling hungry thats the most healthiest way cuz u shud give ur stomach and intestines a lil rest thats the whole point of fasting !!

  15. sammysamx88x says:

:34 ‘similarily’ is not a word Brad. I believe you meant to say ‘similarly’. Good video though you are exceptional in explaining this process.

    i love u

  17. Haggs420 says:

Brad, are you recomending this to people that are trying to loose weight only? Your response to “hellokatter” said it wouldn’t make much difference even though they were speaking about weight training. I can’t see how the fasting stage would help increase muscle mass/endurance since you are not providing the nutrients needed for muscles to repair themselves during a fasting state. If ones goal is to loose weight I can accept this though I still believe eating is better than fasting. (continued)

you just answered aquestion i’ve been asking ppl for a week , no one gives a clear answer on that one .
im starting 2 dayf from now a day fast , im an athlete , can i continue training with same intensity ? and just take more water ?

  19. veganrexia says:

Hey, I started doing eat stop eat about 6 weeks ago. At first, I got dizzy and felt sick when i was training, but now I love it! I feel sharper and more concentrated. I am also starting to see a BIG difference in my body composition. Its like I can actually feel my body burning fat during the workout, and after, my metabolism is sky high for hours! Thanks Brad!! XD Your eating/training plan is the best for natural athletes!

  20. veganrexia says:

Ohh..i forgot to say..something I REALLY love about fasting is not having to cook or wash-up for a whole day LOL

Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset (one cannot consume water or food). This is for 30 days. I usually run 2 mles during the daytime and come home to also do a timed pushup workout. I would appreciate it if you could tell me pros and cons and tips. Thanks!

  25. dicostu says:

@billoakesattablthree woah thats crazy! Its a stupid question, but was he hungry the whole time? I dont know much about fasting but I would think its hard to control the urge to eat.
