    Epic, I am very impressed.

Preparing for the USMC and, just as a want to increase my strength, I find finds like this to be just awesome.

Question: How many reps per each do you do for these? Do you have a set amount of sets/reps that you do? I noticed that you said that you vary them a lot, so as not to plateau..

I’d love to add these to my regimen; my need to know is how often you utilize these exercises in a week. 3 day? Mon-Wed-Fri? or?

Any help you can give me would be most appreciated

@MemoirsofYesterday Thanks Memoirs, hoorah. I work with a lot of leatherneck devil dogs. Please look at a couple responses I posted to similar questions, I think you’ll find what you’re looking for. Respect, man, I wish you the best!

@andymcd23 I’ll hunt through, I appreciate you time and effort to post these videos. I did a number of these core exercises yesterday, felt my abs like no other today; did not effect my 6 mile jog, so right on.

And thanks, I appreciate the support. Can’t wait to go to Boot.

All the best to you as well Andy.

  16. fogoderek says:

Good vid but Your doing it way too fast….slower movements you will work the muscle more!

  17. andymcd23 says:

@fogoderek Thanks for watching. Others have wondered about your question as well, we have discussed that in previous comments. Simply put, I train the way I play, fight, and live. I don’t like slow, exaggerated movements, because there is no application to life. It works for me. I hope you can find what works for you! Thanks :)

  18. gdeep783 says:

    awesome…thanks for making this :-)

  19. avolaunch says:

nice vids and channel man, just how many sets/reps do you do for each exercises or do you just do as many as you can in X amount of time??

  20. andymcd23 says:

@avolaunch Thanks Avo! Please look at responses to previous comments wondering that as well, I keep it pretty simple really. Best to you!

  21. MultiMike256 says:

Thanks for the vid. I’m pretty much a beginner. lol…..Last time I tried doing crunches and sit ups, it didn’t work well for me, since my core is an absolute mess. But since seeing all of these other core exercise alternatives, I should find what works for me. Thumbs up for the vid!!!!!

  22. andymcd23 says:

@MultiMike256 Thanks Mike! Remember man, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Beware fast programs and diets that claim quick changes… You are trying to make intake and training changes that can become your lifestyle, not a temporary fix. I wish you the best, please let me know if I can help! :)

does this make you jump higher?

  24. gpardhu says:

wat the…it reminds me of kungfu movies….i do 2 sets of basic crunches and inclined pushups ,

  25. andymcd23 says:

    @gpardhu mmmm, what?

  26. Lilbit says:

two in the pink, one in the stink as I always say ahohohohohoh(Big Jill laugh)

  27. Thegustaffa says:

no. but youll get well defined calves. jump roping is a great cardio activity, but with the foot flex motion that you are doing with jumping gain rock hard calves, not rock hard abs.

my understanding is that not body chemistry is build to make six pack abs. id say with the most healthy diet, lots of exercise, and LOTS of crunches or situps, then you will to notice if you can get those abs you want :)
