  8. ArizonaTea221 says:

Does anyone even know how creatine works?

  9. TheGeneticMutation says:

Good advice except about the simple sugars. The glycemic rating of a bannana is far lower than the crap in gatoraid. The only thing good in Gatoraid is the electrolights.

Much better to use Cytomax. These guys are not to concerened about cheap sugars because they both have fast motabolisms.

  10. kawboy250F says:

how do u figure its cheating? creatine is a naturaly occuring amino acid in the human body. takin a supp just keeps its from depleting. it doesnt rely make u ne stronger it may help u lift w intesity for longer periods of time but its primary function is recovery it helps ur muscle repair quicker so u can continue to train hard day after day in that sense u will get stronger from it but that indirectly so.

  11. p90x4lifewaswrong says:

@TheGeneticMutation Actually, a weight training session reduces the effects of sugar on blood sugar levels. Therefore, the GI diet is not quite accurate. Pure sugar is actually the preferred sugar over fruit sugar (fructose) post-workout because it is a simple carbohydrate and is faster absorbing.

  12. p90x4lifewaswrong says:

What I like about this video is how Vince says “Not to spend too much time thinking about this stuff.” LOL So true! You guys should be mainly be focusing on lifting intelligently, consistently, and intensely along with a balanced diet. So many guys worry too much about the little stuff and never achieve their goals because of it.

This video is very accurate! My post workout drink consists of some orange juice, table sugar, and protein powder along with creatine. It tastes like a creamsicle!

You want to find a weight that you can do 15 on the first set- but that 15th rep should feel like- that’s it- pleasantly painful. Then the next set- progress slowly with weights, perhaps the same sensation on the 12th rep, and so the story goes. 5 sets should do it- however, each set is to failure. Peace, Vic
