Thank you for the presentation. I just bought a exercise ball, but wasn’t sure how to do the proper technique. Gives me a positive outlook on how to shrink down my trouble areas.

@USGS4L do u hav like 10 pack abs lol??? why not try doing lots of different core exercises, rather than crunches? what about obliques?? they need to be trained more than ur abdominal muscles..

I have to get one of these balls. I think they would work for me since I have a bad back and any tool or equipment helps motivate. Looks like a fun toy! I hate crunches but I have to try to do something…I am getting chubby!

Well produced video with some very good teaching pionts – although why not just do the exercises on the floor, evidence suggests the ball is making many muscles less active, not more active? just my perspective from pubmed/medline searches.

  26. Jen, a priorfatgirl says:

ok, funny story about faces. There is this guy at the gym who does this machine back extension machine and when he does, his face makes this funny reaction. His mouth opens up really wide and his top lip goes right, his bottom lip goes left, he wrinkles his nose and his eyes get really big. The first time I saw him do it, I thought he was having a seizure but he kept going. It still looks funny but I try and not laught…it's hard. I laugh on the inside. Is that mean?
